Dial for help in an emergency with one touch!
Imagine you or your loved one needs help, and need it quickly. With one touch, a user configurable telephone number, such as 911, can be called.
To protect from accidental calling, HelpMe! can be configured to wait a user defined number of seconds before initiating the call, allowing you to cancel the request.
A simple application, and one that you hope you never need. But if you should, it’s the fastest way to put you in contact with a first responder.

Carry a whip for when you need it most.
Flick your phone in order to simulate the whip sound.
The volume/sound is determined by your system sound. This means that your silent switch must be off (i.e. NOT on vibrate mode). Change the sound level with the side buttons on the phone.
This application isn’t specifically designed for the original iPod Touch, as there are no speakers. However, if you still wish to use it, make sure you use headphones.

Heading to a party with your friends?
BarHopper helps track the number of drinks you’ve consumed, and estimates your blood alcohol level using your weight, sex, number of drinks you’ve consumed, and the time since you had your first drink of the evening. It continually updates the blood alcohol estimate as your body metabolizes the alcohol.
BarHopper also estimates the number of hours before you will be legally sober, and provides a convenient color indicator of your sobriety (green means sober, yellow, orange, or red indicates increasing levels of intoxication).
BarHopper also provides a convenient button to call a taxi.
Note: the blood alcohol level calculated by BarHopper is ONLY AN ESTIMATE, and should not be relied on as an accurate measure of your current blood alcohol level.
If you’ve had even one drink – Call a Taxi! Don’t drink & drive!

‘Blanks’ is a simple application helping you to learn new
English words. It shows you word definition and gives 4 choices as answer.
Select one of the choices by dragging it on the hole in the paper.
If you are correct, a green hock is displayed.
If the selected word does not fit to the definition, you will see a red cross.
The word definitions are from Wordnet. The application developer is not associated in any way with Wordnet.

Top 40 lets you view the US Top 40 music chart on your iPhone, and lets you tap any entry to be taken straight to that song on the iTunes Music Store, where you can listen to a 30 second preview, and buy the track.
Top 40 is based the Billboard US charts.
You may have trouble opening the iTunes store links outside the US.
Due to a copyright claim from the Official UK Charts Company we have been forced to remove the UK Chart, this app will remain on the store to allow viewing of the US chart, and will soon be updated to remove the country option. If you would like to see the UK charts in an iPhone friendly format, I recommend you contact the Official UK Chart Company and let them know there is demand for an iPhone app.
